About the Chicagoland Green Chamber of Commerce
The Chicagoland Green Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) is growing greener business in the Chicagoland region by connecting existing green business leaders with businesses, public agencies, and chambers of commerce seeking to make their operations more sustainable.
Businesses’ products and services offer all customers - commercial, public, and residential - the opportunity to change their behaviors and reduce emissions and waste. CGCC provides a list of vendors utilizing certified products and knowledgeable contractors to install products correctly. CGCC is unique in providing specialized sustainable purchasing training and practices and resource guides to support public agencies - local governments, schools, parks, and library districts.
CGCC’s programs consist of events (training and networking); business-to-business products and services promotion; newsletters with member spotlights; resources to best practices and industry specific guidance; sustainable business certification connections; and a green business recognition program.
